Premises details

The base rate for rental cabins is 4,000 € + VAT per single cabin or 6,000 € + VAT per double cabin. The base rental rate for a restaurant operator’s booth is determined based on bids (minimum rental €4,000 + VAT); in addition to the security deposit, the restaurant operator will be charged 15% of the sales of food and beverage products. When selecting a restaurant operator, we take into account a concept suitable for the event as well as the rental bids submitted.

What does the sales space include?

sales cabin (single cabin 2 x 2.5 m or double cabin 2 x 5 m)

3 shelves on the back wall of the booth

Electricity and electrical connection (in a single booth: 1,000 W power allocation for a heater, LED lighting, and a payment terminal; for restaurant operators: 3 x 16 A basic electricity)

General lighting on the cabin ceiling

Waste management

Winter maintenance of the market square

Right to use the water tap

Staff portable toilet with hand-washing facilities

Nameplate

Fairy lights and pine branches for the sales booths

Visibility on area signage and the event’s website (Finnish, Swedish, English)

Marketing and communications for the market

Participation in the program and the invitation-only event

Seller Responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for obtaining all permits related to sales, serving alcohol, and hygiene.

Vendors are responsible for insuring their property; the organizer’s insurance does not cover the sales booth or its contents.

Upon receiving the sales booth, the vendor agrees to pay the rental fee for the cabin by October 31.

Vendors agree to comply with the principles of responsible event organization; read more (in Finnish).

Please fill out the application thoroughly and describe your products and sales concept. Also include any photos of your products and information about your previous sales locations. Please note that a comprehensive and clearly filled-out application will streamline the processing of your application. The call for vendors and restaurant operators opens on August 26, and the application period runs through September 13. Vendor selections will be announced by September 31.
