You can enjoy a leisurely weekend in good company over brunch. A brunch is a lovely way to celebrate special occasions and spend time with friends and family. Helsinki’s brunch offering is growing year by year, but the historical sites in the city centre offer a truly special experience, combining delicious food with a stunning setting.

In the heart of Torikorttelit, you can head to the brunch tables at Café Engel and Restaurant Sunn – both now considered classics – or try out the newcomer, Restaurant Marga. Café Story in the Old Market Hall offers a unique setting and a fresh breakfast set, while Restaurant Piilo, located at one end of Hietalahti Market Hall, charms visitors with its generous buffet. If you want a culinary experience served at the table, you should take your brunch at Restaurant Lohtu on the second floor of Hakaniemi Market Hall.
