A versatile 600 m² space for rent at Teurastamo.

The space totals just over 600 m², with a ceiling height up to 7 m. There are two entrances, allowing the space to be divided if necessary. A terrace area is available for rent at the front, but it must be adapted to allow people to walk through the area and to other activities in the courtyard.

The space was previously used as a nightclub. The new tenant is expected to be open during the day as well. We are looking someone who will bring new audiences to the area and offer services and experiences that complement the current offering. Above all, we want more attractive activities throughout the year. The goal is for Teurastamo to be open from morning to night, all year round.

Teurastamo’s strengths are its free atmosphere, experimental urban culture, and cooperation between entrepreneurs. The venue has been discovered by Helsinki residents of all ages and backgrounds, making it a particularly welcoming meeting place. Teurastamo is home to a dozen restaurants and bars, two galleries, a bakery, an ice cream factory, a meat and fish shop, a coffee roastery, and many creative industry offices.

Teurastamo is located at a sweet spot between old Helsinki (Kallio, Hermanni, and Vallila) and the new eastern city center (Kalasatama, Suvilahti, Hanasaari). The construction of Hermanninranta and the development of the Teollisuuskatu axis will bring even more people to the area. The area is undergoing change, but at the same time exudes just the right amount of history for those who appreciate it.
